No surprise here, but tennis is expensive. At Gem City Family Tennis, we are committed to providing all equipment, covering fees and keeping lesson costs as low as possible so that tennis is accessible to all Dayton families.
Your money goes towards funding:
-
Equipment: Balls, rackets, teaching supplies like cones and ball carts, etc.
-
Court Fees: In the winter, while we have a lovely partner in The Salvation Army Kroc Center who kindly allows us gym space when available, we will need to find indoor court space on occasion, which can get expensive.
-
Interns: We love to be able to pay our interns a little something for helping with coaching and content creation.
-
Savings for our own facility: Ah the dream of having our own indoor/outdoor tennis courts... :)
Thank you for supporting us as we get started on what we hope will be a long and rewarding tennis journey.
Volunteer with us!
Sign-up to volunteer by selecting a event from our listings. No tennis experience required, but we do request that all volunteers be age 16 and up.
Our lead coach will provide you with instructions but generally we ask volunteers to hand out equipment, make sure students are being safe and, when comfortable, play beginner games and skills with students.

Hope to see you out on court with us!
